In my opinion The DEQ has already turned our rivers into sewers. The once Shenandoah is now the Sewerdoah.

Preserving clean water in rivers and everywhere is vital to keep the planet and its inhabitants healthy.

My friend let me know about a sewage spill near Bull Creek Austin today (9/10/07), but I have been wading in Bull Creek at least twice since the spill (8/28/07).

Please keep sewage out of the water, including sewage from livestock especially factory farms.

I'm glad to see that this long overlooked problem is finally getting some attention. As more and more Americans flock to oceans, lakes, and rivers; this issue is more important than ever.

Until we protect our waters, people are still going to poop and leave their litter right next to our waters. This picture is at Lake Powell, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
