In my opinion The DEQ has already turned our rivers into sewers. The once Shenandoah is now the Sewerdoah. Between the treatment plants, the sludge/human waste they spread on farmers fields and the bird waste they spread on farmers fields also the river in not a place to let your kids play in anymore. If a fish cant live in it.. The Dept of game and inland fisheries on there web sight recommends that you not go in the river if you have a open cut and to use hand sanitizer if you have gotten your hands wet before you eat anything.
